Plasma Rich Platelet (PRP) therapy is a cutting-edge form of regenerative medicine that involves the use of growth factors found in the patient’s own blood. By concentrating and isolating growth factors from the patient's own blood, PRP therapy can be used to promote tissue healing and regeneration, as well as reduce inflammation, scars, and hyperpigmentation. PRP treatments have also been used effectively for hair loss.

The process begins with a simple blood draw from the patient, typically from their arm or leg. Then, using a centrifuge machine, platelets are isolated from the sample and concentrated into a platelet-rich plasma (PRP). For application to skin tissue, this PRP is then injected directly into or around the area being treated using either microneedling, direct needling techniques or cannulas.
